For Your Eyes Only (1981) – Original Japanese B2

A superb original Japanese first-release cinema poster for For Your Eyes Only, Roger Moore’s fifth appearance as James Bond 007.

This striking Japan-only Style A design features artwork by Hisamitsu Noguchi, who created a wonderfully detailed montage of the film’s action sequences. Bond dominates the centre of the composition, surrounded by the Lotus Esprit, Citroën 2CV, ski chase, helicopter, submarine, underwater action and characters from the film. The large red Japanese 007 title gives the poster particularly strong visual impact.
